El Baile de la muerte[]
When rumors of Roberta's presence spread through Roanapur, the Colombians there reported the possible sighting to their comrades in Colombia. In order to stabilize the Colombian Cartel's relations with FARC, who had allied with the cartel after the Medellín Cartel got decimated, the cartel was ordered to kill Roberta and bring her head to FARC, so Pasturia ordered Abrego to find and kill the ex-FARC terrorist. At a Council meeting inside The Golden Swingin Night Club to address Roberta's return to Thailand, Abrego relayed his boss's orders to the Council once learning that Roberta's enemy was a group of U.S. Army soldiers.[1]
Subsequently, Pasturia told FARC about the confirmation of Roberta's presence in Roanapur, so FARC sent their Sumasas Brigade, led by their adviser Alberto Camarasa of the Cuban Naval Special Forces, to Thailand to aid the cartel in killing Roberta. When Camarasa and his soldiers arrived in Thailand, Pasturia called Gustavo and told him to put Abrego on the phone. In Colombia while hanging out with his children, Pasturia emphasized to Abrego that the cartel's help to the FARC brigade could not be messed up, remarking that he would end up like Pablo Escobar. Ordering Abrego to demonstrate his loyalty, he assured him that Camarasa and his men could be trusted.
Elaborating on the objective, Pasturia sternly ordered Abrego not to interfere with the U.S. Americans and not to let Camarasa discover the U.S. military's presence since FARC would gladly fight any U.S. soldiers, an action which would result in the U.S. government seeking revenge against the Colombian Cartel. Finishing their conversation, he told his subordinate to tie up any loose ends in the event that FARC found out about the U.S. troops and tried to attack them.[2] In the end, FARC did find out about Roberta's chase to kill the Grey Fox troops, so Camarasa called Abrego to confront him about his omission, warning Abrego that FARC would not tolerate the cartel or "U.S. imperialist dogs" getting in their way. As Abrego angrily wondered how he would make it up to Pasturia for messing up the plan, the disappointed Gustavo tied up the "loose end" by purging Abrego from the Colombian Cartel, killing him.[3]
