History[]
The Wired Red Wild Card[]
Cosa Nostra had struck a deal with the Albanian Mafia to launder the latter's gold for them by giving it to the London bullion trader Zamid Dhiyab. Six months into the dealings, Zamid fell over a cruise's railing and drowned, his death being ruled accidental. Camillo and his crew found out about the death late because Zamid's mistress attempted to pilfer his assets. Learning this from Sammy, a London Metropolitan Police detective, he and his men subdued him and submerged his feet in cement. Reporting to Ronnie, Camillo relayed the news of Zamid's death and their source being Scotland Yard via Sammy to him. Annoyed because Zamid was the only one who could launder the gold ingots, Ronnie asked him where the money was. Because Camillo hesitated to answer, Ronnie repeated that he needed to know the money's location, threatening to sink Camillo in the ocean alongside Sammy. Admitting that he did not know, he elaborated that Zamid's mistress was locked up before she could even try to access the assets.
Hearing Ronnie's concern about whether or not Scotland Yard knew about the laundering account, Camillo assured him that the Yard could not possibly know due to Zamid's cautiousness. Interrupting him, Ronnie rhetorically asked who would dig up the money regardless, also asking if Zamid was done cashing in the money. Camillo clarified that the gold went through the bullion bank and through Zamid's mining company, saying that Zamid was likely planning to move the money to a shell company somewhere in Panama. Ronnie then asked about the secondary account holder, to which Camillo replied that he already investigated that and came up with nothing since Zamid was the only person with supervisory authority over the account. Camillo then remained silent as Sammy was drowned while his boss grumpily remarked that they would have to find someone else to launder the money due to the Albanians' deadline and Don Monteverdi's demands. Concluding the meeting, Ronnie ordered Camillo to do whatever he needed to do.[1]
