Chico (チコ Chiko) was a gangster and member of the Colombian Cartel.

Appearance[]

Chico was an adult Hispanic man with a skinny build, tan skin, and short black hair styled into a small pompadour. He wore a light-blue suit and dark-colored dress shirt, and he carried a revolver for a weapon.

History[]

El Baile de la muerte / Roberta's Blood Trail[]

While Gustavo and several of his men went to the Yellow Flag for information on Roberta's whereabouts, Chico and others were summoned by Gustavo to bring all the weapons that they owned to kill Fabiola Iglesias due to her onslaught.[1] Accordingly, Chico and other men quickly drove to the Yellow Flag to acts as reinforcements, even speeding past Benny and Dutch. Parking outside the bar, he waited for further orders from Gustavo over the phone. Hearing his boss urge him to blast the bar apart with bullets, Chico was hesitant at first until the call abruptly ended. Marrero asked him what they would do, and Chico thought that Gustavo was killed by the young maid, so he yelled to Marrero to shoot through the bar. Firing without thinking of his fellow gangsters inside, Marrero consistently fired the weapon across the windows, greatly damaging the building, injuring several gangsters with friendly fire, and leaving Fabiola unharmed since she avoided the attack.

After Borge and his men were pushed back, Chico yelled at the blank Marrero to continue shooting. Witnessing Fabiola firing a grenade which flipped a car onto Marrero, he fell to the ground and shouted at the remaining men to retreat and regroup. Jumping into the passenger seat of another car, he called Abrego and frantically claimed that Gustavo was killed. Before he could specify that a young girl, not Roberta, was responsible, the young maid fired a grenade at his fleeing car, killing him.[2] In the anime, in contrast, Chico immediately agreed to Gustavo's order to fire upon the bar. Afterward, he fled and Fabiola did not fire another grenade round after the Colombian gangsters retreated.[3]
