A Japanese military officer who came in Germany to study aeronotics during WWII. A personable officer, he socialized with Wentzel H. Ahbe and the rest of the crew of the U-boat U-1324 during their journey to the Japanese-held city of Batavia (now Jakarta), even to the point of teaching them shogi, a Japanese board game similar to chess.

When U-1324 was sunk by depth charges and all hope for survival was lost, he commuted seppuku (ritual suicide) by stabbing himself with his katana, following the code of Bushido.
