DEEP BLUE SEA is the twenty-seventh chapter of the Black Lagoon spinoff series Dismemberment Galore! The Gore Gore Girl. It was originally released on November 19, 2021.
Plot[]
Out in the sea, a salvage boat's salvage arm travels to the sea floor, and a diver emerges from the water's surface to give a thumbs up. Subsequently, the salvage arm hoists up a large coffin, with Choptop flashing a grin upon noticing the booty. As the diver climbs the stern's ladder, Choptop remarks that his info was correct and he did not expect the coffin to be lifted so quickly. Speaking about the story looking over the deck, he recalls how a secret client hired his group to retrieve the coffin so that it can be raised and buried in a cemetery, adding that it does not make sense since it costs a lot of money but the client apparently has no problem. Looking to Sawyer the Cleaner for agreement, he sees that Sawyer is still sitting with her face buried in her hands.
Asking her if she is still mad, he reminds her that he got the job on his own, but Sawyer only looks slightly up for a second and starts to voicelessly whimper into her knees. He asks if she has seasickness, trying to cheer her up by agreeing that it is tough and telling her that she will only have be patient for a little longer. As Sawyer's seasick face looks up slightly, Choptop turns his head leftward and is surprised to see a fishing boat in the distance. The boat's captain runs to Choptop and advises all men to prepare their weapons since pirates are pursuing. As Choptop looks to the pirates, he sees three boats of bandana-wearing pirates all carrying AK rifles. The pirates inch closer to the boat, causing the captain to order everyone to tie themselves to the boat or he will let their bodies fall into the sea.
When the boat makes a sharp turn, one of the divers begins shooting at the pirates while Sawyer holds onto a mast, biting her lips together in impatient sickness. As Choptop hangs onto the coffin, the captain states that the pirates are aiming for their salvage, asking what exactly they want. The punk hangs onto the tilting boat for dear life and yells that he has no idea, and one pirate fires an RPG at the boat. The rocket successfully hits the railing area, making one crew member fly into the air off the boat and into the mouth of a large, jumping shark. Having witnessed the whole thing, Choptop screams in terror. He also sees several shark fins poke out of the water, and he tries to warn the captain but is shocked to notice the latter wielding an RPG-7. The captain fires the rocket at one of the pirate boats, blowing the pirates into the water to be ravenously eaten by the sharks.
Looking over the railing in awe, Choptop praises his captain, but a rocket hits the rail, blowing away the captain. Still greatly confused, Choptop returns to hanging onto the coffin as the remaining pirates fire more rockets that successfully hit the hull. Sawyer herself dizzily flies back and forth as Choptop helplessly watches another sailor fly overboard and eaten by a jumping shark. As the punk screams about the boat sinking, he turns around to see an angry, drooling Sawyer brandishing her chainsaw. As Sawyer angrily wipes the bit of vomit from her lips, Choptop asks if she became open-minded after throwing up. A shark jumps toward Sawyer, who flashes a murderous grin as she swings her chainsaw, but the shark merely knocks her away with its tail fin, knocking her unconscious. As the sharks leave the area, Choptop is shocked at seeing Sawyer lose, and her chainsaw is seen sinking into the sea.
Much later, having made it to land at the harbor, Sawyer sits on her side curled up with the coffin resting on top of her as Choptop stretches his arms in relief. Looking at his teacher, Choptop tells her that he is glad she managed to reach land, also adding that he shook off the pirates. Curious about the contents of the widely desired coffin, he finds a male skeleton surrounded by water and dressed in a suit with its hands clasping a square box. He takes the box and sees the keyhole, questioning how to open it as Sawyer's key earring is seen dangling from her left ear.
