Handing Garcia his pistol after accepting responsibility for accidentally murdering Diego Lovelace, Caxton tells the boy that he will have to decide if revenge is truly his best decision. Ray pleads with Caxton to stop, but the major tells the captain to take over the operation since he has seen the same things as him. The Grey Fox soldiers point their rifles at the boy, reasoning that Caxton's death would throw their operation in jeopardy. He retorts back not to disobey his order, but he suddenly gets a radio call from Balalaika, calling herself Jane Doe, about the "hound" approaching close to them. Caxton in turn asks her who she is and who is the "hound," and Balalaika answers that she is a former captain of the Soviet Airborne Forces (VDV).
Meanwhile at the Lagoon Company dry dock, Benny tells Rock over the phone that Watsap has closed off the arterial streets and mentions that Dutch is angry. Asking Benny if he is calling Rock, Dutch requests that he be put on, so Benny tells Rock that he does not want to see him be kicked out of the Lagoon Company. Rock starts the call by saying that he is sorry, but Dutch responds that he will have to do better than that. The ex-salaryman clarifies that the Rip-Off Church is the mediator while the NSA is their client, adding that the Lagoon Company's role is to get the problem out of Roanapur. Dutch asks how the situation will change, and Rock answers that Roberta will also leave the city to follow the U.S. troops. When Dutch comments that he does not want to get caught up in a problem with them having the short end of the stick, Rock smiles and states that they are the only ones who truly get to have fun. Finishing the call, Dutch says that people who have fun in their line of work are adventurers or suicidal people, asking him which one he is, but Rock jokes that it is fun to put a bet on that.
Although annoyed, Dutch agrees to the job and wonders to where exactly do they take the troops, with Rock saying that they have to guide Grey Fox into the jungle like the old song "Run Through the Jungle." Back in the inner city, Ray confirms to Caxton that Balalaika's info was right, but Caxton asks her what is her endgame since the Soviet Union is dead. Agreeing with him, Balalaika elaborates that she and her men are an army of ghosts unable to die or come back to life. Suddenly, Corporal Zamyatin informs her that Roberta is closing in, and the killer maid jumps down onto Caxton, who tries to shoot at her as Horner shields Garcia. As Roberta grins and tauntingly threatens to skin the "foxes," Caxton flips her over him and aims his rifle, but Garcia pleads with them not to shoot her since she is merely unwell.
Seeing Garcia, Roberta calmly tells him that she will make some tea for him when she is done with her slaughter, dismaying him. Standing next to Horner, Garcia tells Caxton that he will bring back his maid, pleading with Caxton to take care of her. Nearby, Revy grumbles that they have lost time, and Shenhua declares that they will bump into the men at the Ramsap intersection, also asking Lotton how he is doing after getting kicked in the groin. Pulling out the dented groin guard from his pants, Lotton nonchalantly states that he was wearing protection, disgusting her and Sawyer. Before Lotton can speak about his pistols, Shenhua interrupts him that he probably does not want to have children anyway, with Sawyer agreeing verbally. Looking above her, Fabiola notices the Vysotniki running on the rooftop. Balalaika yells to her men to fire between Roberta and the soldiers, giving Caxton and his men the opportunity to move.
Angered, Roberta tries to shoot back at the Vysotniki but is forced to take cover behind a building corner, and Balalaika praises Zamyatin's team. Realizing that the Vysotniki is now involved, Revy and Shenhua argue with each other for not knowing about Hotel Moscow's presence, but Sawyer tickles Revy to inform her of Garcia's presence among Horner and Sanchez. Peering around the corner, Shenhua asks Revy what they will do, and Revy answers that they will have to kill the two soldiers.
