Elvis (エルヴィス Eruvisu) was an enforcer in the Nuevo Laredo Cartel. An American who originally lived and operated in Florida,[1][2] he was willfully ignorant of the customs of the crime syndicates of Roanapur, and his actions were a testament of it.

Appearance[]

Elvis was a young man with a skinny build, tan skin, short black hair with long sideburns, and a short chin beard. He wore a grayish suit jacket and pants in addition to a dark-grayish magenta dress shirt. He carried an M1911 pistol for a weapon.

History[]

Greenback Jane[]

Arriving in Roanapur as a newcomer under Lobos, he ordered Jane and Theo to hurry their work on creating a counterfeit money printer for the Nuevo Laredo Cartel. When Jane and Theo worked past their original deadline for perfectionist reasons, Elvis shot Theo in the back of the head as a warning to Jane, demanding her to complete the counterfeit press in two days or else. While he was away, his henchmen's carelessness allows Jane to escape their clutches. Elvis and his men chased Jane and tracked her down to the Rip-Off Church, where he shot at the chapel door, putting a hole in it and angering Revy and Eda enough to start shooting at Elvis and co. in retaliation.

Consequently, Elvis and his men immediately ducked behind their cars for protection. During the initial firefight, he ordered his men to shoot back, whereas Lobos told them to hold their fire. Lobos tried to negotiate with Revy, Eda, and Rico. When this failed and the three continued shooting at the henchmen, Yolanda appeared and pulled out her custom Desert Eagle, shooting one of Elvis' cars and flipping it over. Terrified of the continuing hail of bullets, Lobos had Elvis dragged away from the church by two of his subordinates and into another car with which they drove away. As he was dragged away, he cursed the women and threatened to make mincemeat out of them.[3]

In the hospital recovering from his injuries, he sent out "Groovy Guy" Russell to capture Jane, and the Floridan cowboy confidently assured Elvis that he would make sure that he would be back in Florida in no time to watch the Caribbean sunset with Don Gerolamo.[2] After a great deal of Russell's bounty hunters failed to capture Jane, Elvis had Lobos visit him in the hospital, ordering the latter to call their allies in Florida for back-up, adding that he did not care whether such actions would start a war with the Triad and Hotel Moscow. After leaving the furious Elvis to himself, Lobos waited outside and sighed in disappointment. Because of Elvis's stubbornness to kill Jane and his willingness to start gang wars with other crime syndicates if need be, Lobos had his pistol at his side and decided to purge Elvis from the Nuevo Laredo Cartel ranks.[4]
