Enos II (イーノスの二代目 Īnosu no nidaime) was the second and most recent head of the Enos family. He fell in love with Burt Gummer's daughter Angela and agreed to steal money from his own family for her, but she deceived him and left him to die after taking the money for herself.
Appearance[]
He was a young man with a skinny build, long blond hair, and pale skin with various burn scars across his body, including a vertical scar on the right side of his face. Being paralyzed from the waist down, he traveled in a wheelchair. He wore a stitched domino mask, light-colored dress shirts, and skinny jeans.
Eda Initial Stage[]
Sometime after Enos I and Needham joined forces and built up the Enos crime family,[1] the former passed away at some point, so Enos II became the second head. In the 1980s, a young Enos II secretly dated and fell in love with Angela, the daughter of Burt Gummer, whose woodlands property was sought out by the Enos family for the purpose of clearing the forest and building a large resort. Unknown to the young man, his love was not requited, as Angela intended to deceive him. She convinced him to give $500,000 from his family's wealth to her, so he went to his mansion's safe and put $500,000 into a duffel bag.[2] Reconvening with her, Enos II traveled with her in her car but was suddenly subdued by Angela and tied up to a fence off the road. Confused, he desperately asked Angela why she was departing alone, reminding her that she said she could not betray or abandon her family.
Saddened, he asked if she was abandoning him, to which Angela replied that she had had enough of being tied to their town in the Deep South. She elaborated that the people of Lakeside were completely immersed in the old-fashioned place, spending their unchanging days by drinking, gambling, and fighting to get rid of their sorrows. Commenting that it would probably remain the same ten years into the future, she professed that she did not want to live like that and would rather be in charge of her own life. Distraught, Enos II pleaded with her not to go, exclaiming that he loved her. Hoisting the bag of money over her shoulder, Angela looked at him and bid her "darling" goodbye, smirkingly admitting that she loved him too. As she drove away in her car, the tied-down Enos tearfully shouted her name.[1] In despair after being abandoned by his ex-love, he tried to commit suicide by diving with his car off a cliff into a canyon. Although he survived and was treated for his wounds, he had severe burns across his body and was paralyzed from the waist down, only being able to move with the use of a wheelchair. He also wore a domino mask to cover the burn scars across his face. For the next ten years, Enos II held onto his hatred of Angela, and the Enos family and Burt Gummer began feuding and occasionally clashing with each other in Lakeside under his reign.[2]
A Savage Place[]
When Gummer fought with Enos family gangsters, the survivalist came across Eda, whom he genuinely believed was his daughter back from the dead. As he left with her, one of the gangsters heard him shout Angela's name.[3] At the Enos family mansion, Enos II was shocked to hear that Angela had supposedly returned. Pointing to the man behind him, Needham claimed that he heard Gummer shout Angela's name, surprising him. Nervously speaking, Needham tried to persuade him about her presence by saying that Gummer was the one who was certain about it, adding that he and his men would have seen her if they could. Shaking in anger upon hearing the testimony, Enos II cursed Angela for toying with his heart. Though Needham tried to console him, the scarred man ordered him to gather everyone in the organization to finally settle things with the Gummer family, deducing that the only place Angela would go to was the Gummer cabin.
Later, Needham gathered and hired a wide variety of professional criminals to help them attack Gummer's cabin. At a warehouse, several men unloaded boxes of firearms while Enos II askd Needham if everything was ready. Whispering to him, Needham confirmed but specified that it was tough due to time. Enos II noted the great number of unfamiliar faces, prompting Needham to explain that he figured he would hire a bunch of men since they were going to battle Gummer of all people. Looking at the hired gunmen, he assured Enos II that the various mercenaries, mafia gunmen, and former military guys were all well-known in their own right. Commending Needham for his thoroughness, Enos II then addressed the men, asking them if everyone had a weapon. He advised them not to forget their ammunition, shouting that there was no such thing as too much ammo. Proclaiming that they would take on their old enemy of ten years, Enos II proudly stated that they would storm the house of the "bastard prepper," causing the men to enthusiastically cheer. Before getting into the backseat with his boss, Needham told his men that their targets were Burt Gummer and his daughter Angela, encouraging them to erase them and their cabin from existence. Subsequently, J.J. led the pack of cars, and Enos II fanatically agreed that they would settle the long-standing feud.[2]
Meanwhile, nearby, as the Enos family gangsters drove to the property, Enos II ordered all of his men to listen up. He offered $5,000 to whoever could kill Gummer but warned them not to kill Angela, adding that whoever could bring her to him alive would receive $10,000, exciting the men. Hearing the offer, one gangster sped his car past a different car with mafia gunmen, showing them the middle finger and warning them to stay back since he wanted the bonus. In short time, as the battle ensued, just outside the forest property, Enos II and Needham waited just outside the forest property, but the former was impatient about the fighting and wondered what Needham's hired gunmen are doing. Assuring him that the mercenaries were professionals, Needham claimed that the men were just getting started. Enos II continued waiting in the car while his men were continuously killed by Gummer and Eda until Needham informed him and J.J. that he received a call about Gummer and the others fleeing to the other side of the cabin. Subsequently, J.J. turned the car around and began driving onto the property.[4]
Seeing Gummer finish fighting a mercenary, J.J. sped his car at him, knocking the prepper into the air and onto the ground. Immediately, Enos II had his two men tie up the unconscious man and lay him on his back. Getting out of the car and onto his wheelchair, he ordered the "hulk bastard" to wake up. Commenting that it had been a while, Enos II asked Gummer where Angela was. Becoming excited, Gummer answered that he still could not believe that his daughter had come back, claiming that she had likely already created a bloodbath out of his mercenaries. Unknown to both of them, Eda had indeed killed the remaining mercenaries. He even added that it was almost like a dream because his daughter had come back to life after being killed by the Enos family.
Yelling at the old man, Enos II repeated that Angela was not dead because she ran away after stealing his family's money and breaking his heart. Not listening to a word, Gummer thanked God for bringing his daughter back. Furious with his stubbornness, Enos II declared that he was done for. As he exclaimed that all that they had to do was to find Angela, Needham pulled out his pistol and suddenly shot Enos II in the head, killing him. This was because Needham despised him for letting himself be conned into giving a large sum of money to Angela as well as not going after her or Gummer, and he had plotted over the course of a decade to take Enos II down and rebuild the Enos family with the local deputy sheriff Crocker. In spite of Enos II's murder, Needham was defeated by Gummer when the latter woke up and broke free of his hand binds.[1]
