History[]

Black Lagoon[]

When Rock worked at the company (under his real name Rokurō Okajima), Fujiwara reminded Rock to bow when Kageyama passed through their section of the office in one incident. After Rock was abducted by the Lagoon Company and the pirates took an important disk belonging to the company, Fujiwara told the Director about Rock being close to the disk, surprising and angering the Director, who told him that he was responsible for the disk's safety.[1] Accordingly, he accompanied Kageyama to get the disk back, having arranged a flight for the latter to Southeast Asia. Soon, after the disk was not retrieved since the pirates fought off Kageyama's hired mercenaries, the two arrived in Southeast Asia, and Fujiwara and Kageyama traveled to a port to meet Hotel Moscow members and retrieve the disk as well as Rock. Once the exchange occurred, he immediately ordered Rock to stop waiting and get in the car, but Rock quit and agreed to be legally dead. Kageyama had no problem with Rock's choice, prompting Fujiwara to return to his passenger seat and leave the area. As they drove back to the airport, he wondered what went through Rock's mind to quit his job, but Kageyama replied that it did not matter since they acquired what had been stolen from them.[2]
