Hanada (花田) was a Japanese street criminal who worked under Chaka after the latter betrayed the Washimine Group. Within Chaka's group, Hanada in particular had a very short temper and was prone to anger.

Appearance[]

Hanada was a young adult man with a skinny build, thick, brown neck-length hair, and pale skin. He wore a leopard-patterned bandana around his head and shaded glasses, as well as a baggy, short-sleeved red shirt over a long-sleeved black shirt and black ankle-length pants.

History[]

Fujiyama Gangsta Paradise[]

After Chaka betrayed the Washimine Group, Hanada and the rest of Chaka's team of petty criminals went with Chaka to Yukio Washimine's house to abduct her. When Yoshida and Yukio arrived, Chaka killed Yoshida by shooting him several times, scaring Yukio to run away. As she began running, she shoved Hanada out of her way, angering him to grab her by the hair and punch her in the face, knocking her to the ground. Furious, he asked her if she was trying to mess with him, proceeding to elbow Yukio in the abdomen, punch her face again, and then repeatedly kick her in the ribs while the other thugs laughed and watched. Smiling and walking up to Hanada, Chaka smashed his head with a vase, warning him not to harm Yukio yet since he did not order him to do so. Consequently, Hanada was grabbed by Chaka and punched several times as a threat toward the terrified Yukio not to run away again.[1]

Although battered, Hanada was still alive, and he went to a local bowling alley with Chaka as the group played a strip game from the bowling match using Yukio's clothing as the bet. When Revy and Ginji Matsuzaki arrived to rescue Yukio, they coordinated their attacks together to slaughter the thugs, making Chaka's men hide for cover. Attempting to attack Revy, Hanada tried swinging his baseball bat, but she dodged it by ducking. After that first swing, Ginji immediately aided her by using his katana to slice open Hanada's chest and then stabbed him in the back on the ground, killing him.[2]
