Gore Gore Girl history[]
Volume 1[]
Heo visited Sawyer when she was in the middle of cutting up a corpse at her workplace, sitting on a table in the back and watching her work. Calling her name as she was working, Heo covered his nose due to the smell of blood and reminded her that he was there to collect the "thing." On another table, Sawyer removed a covering to reveal a skinny, lifeless, female corpse, and the boy looked at the corpse in awe since the girl looked alive. Commenting that he would not ask her how she got it, he told her that the "Doctor" would soon give the reward to her as promised and laughed. As the boy continued examining the girl, he noticed that the girl's eye had a rainbow iris like the "Earth Eye" that he had heard about. Satisfied with the appearance, the boy waved goodbye to Sawyer and stated that he would send a carrier later.
Later that night, when Sawyer walked alone at night and had her path blocked by several large men in dark suits and bowler hats, Heo suddenly appeared out of nowhere and kicked one of the men to the ground, greeting her. Saying that the men were business rivals of his, he apologized for leading the men to her, adding that he would take care of them and advised her to stay to the side. While Heo beat up the men with martial arts, Sawyer killed one man and then saw that Heo had already beat up the other men. The Thai boy then immediately walked up to her and smiled to ask if she was all right. Looking into his eyes, Sawyer saw his left eye with a rainbow iris, thinking about Heo's "Earth Eye" comment from earlier. As she looked, a hand waved to Heo from behind an adjacent wall, grabbing his attention.
Knowing that he was being picked up, Heo turned and grabbed her hand, remarking that the nearby sound was the Doctor's carriage. As the woman appeared from the corner, Sawyer recognized her as the same corpse that she gave to Heo before, shocking her. Bidding goodbye, Heo gave her an evil smile and bid her sweet dreams, disappearing rapidly before she checked around the corner in frightened confusion. The next morning at Shenhua's place, Sawyer laid on the couch as the nightgown-clad Shenhua laughed at her story, telling her that it was a dream likely resulting from her drunkenness. Continuing to giggle, Shenhua elaborated that it was outlandish that her assailants did not carry guns in Roanapur and that a young boy like Heo somehow beat them up single-handedly and so easily with Muay Thai.[1]
