Goat, Jihad, Rock'N Roll[]

When the U.S. Embassy in Zaire was bombed, Chambers was near the scene of the aftermath. Speaking to the camera on television, he broke the story to CMN's viewers, claiming that not much remained of the embassy. Relying on local sources, Chambers added that 37 embassy staff were killed while another 150 people were injured, saying that the Zaire military was continuing its rescue efforts. He then stated that a terrorist group claimed responsibility, with the Islamic Salvation Front being the culprit in the manga[1] while the Protectors of the Islamic Front was the culprit in the anime.[2] In the manga, he also revealed that U.S. National Security Advisor Samuel Berger held a press conference at the White House in Washington, D.C. to discuss the attack.[1] At the same time far away in Roanapur, Rock heard Chambers's report on TV when he entered Revy's room to wake her up for an urgent job from Mister Chang. At the meeting with the Triad boss, when Chang mentioned the recent terrorist attack that morning, Rock realized that he was talking about the U.S. Embassy bombing.[2]
