L'auriculaire (ロリキュレール Rorikyurēru) was a member of Les Cinq Doigts, a five-member unit of France's Service d'Action Civique (SAC). One mission she had as a member was to go to Roanapur and hunt down a man called "La Mouche." Her name is French for "little finger" (or pinky finger), also being her code name in Les Cinq Doigts. Furthermore, she was the second known person to take on the L'auriculaire code name.

Appearance[]

L'auriculaire was a young French woman with a skinny build and pale skin. She had blonde hair tied into two ponytails, and she wore a bullet-resistant black pantsuit with black gloves and shoes. In addition, she carried a Jericho pistol and a knife for weapons.

History[]

Before her affiliation with Les Cinq Doigts, she worked for the French government, not yet having her code name. After the first L'auriculaire died in a botched operation in Nigeria, she was assigned to take the first woman's place, becoming the second L'auriculaire.[1]

L'homme sombre[]

As soon as she joined Les Cinq Doigts, she accompanied her new comrades (Le Pouce, L'index, Le Majeur, and L'annulaire) to Roanapur as part of Les Cinq Doigts' mission to hunt down "La Mouche", who was profiled as a Black man who is 2 meters tall and worked for anti-French forces in Africa. Accordingly, the five women began targeting and killing Black men in the city, including a fight promoter working for Ronnie the Jaws. At the fighting ring, L'auriculaire was betting on which Muay Thai fighter, Somsak or Kittikhun, would win the match. She then teased Le Majeur that the latter still needed to fight the winning fighter, which she begrudgingly did. After Le Majeur was escorted to the promoter's office due to the henchmen's anger, L'auriculaire and the other women entered as well to back her up, killing the promoter's henchmen but sparing him. Smiling, L'auriculaire pulled out a knife and began to interrogate him via torture, but she prematurely killed him.[2]

Some day later, she interrogated another Black man and yet again killed him quickly. Getting up, she remarked that they had killed 5 people so far. L'annulaire told her that she needed to give each man they come across a chance to talk, to which the latter responded that she only followed orders to attempt to make him talk, offering them to take her place.[3] As Pouce argued with Majeur, the latter woman pulled out a gun on the former, causing L'auriculaire to join the other two in drawing their weapons on Majeur. Angry with Pouce but knowing that they still had to continue their mission, Majeur sheathed her pistol and walked away, with L'auriculaire sheathing her pistol too.[4]

After the argument between Le Pouce and Le Majeur, L'auriculaire went to a café with L'index and L'annulaire and learned about Le Majeur's grudge against Pouce due to the former accusing the latter of intentionally getting the first L'auriculaire killed. Confused by Majeur's reasoning, the second L'auriculaire responded that Majeur should not be so angry since casualties were expected in their line of work, adding that they could lose another member if Majeur continued to let her feelings interfere in their job.[1] Around this time, L'auriculaire and her comrades almost killed Jinx, another Black man who was contracted under Hotel Moscow. When Hotel Moscow arrived at the bloodbath, the Frenchwomen fled, leaving Jinx alive. The next Black man that Les Cinq Doigts tracked down was François Modibo, who worked at Isaac's antiques shop. Subsequently, the women arrived outside the store, and Pouce waited in the car while the other four entered the building.[5]

The four Frenchwomen began a shootout with Revy, Shenhua and Modibo, but they were outmatched and pushed back by the latter group. Consequently, L'auriculaire wanted to retreat and L'annulaire agreed, so the women began fleeing to the front door. Barging out of the shop, L'auriculaire waited in the car while L'index saved Majeur from being captured by Shenhua. As Pouce started the car's engine, L'auriculaire advised her to wait. While Majeur struggled to get away, L'auriculaire aimed her pistol at her and fired, hitting Majeur in her left eye and incapacitating her. Pouce was shocked, but L'auriculaire yelled at her to drive, and the women left Majeur behind to escape.[6]

Later the next night, Le Majeur returned to Les Cinq Doigts' safehouse, surprising the other women enough to pull out their guns.[7] L'index stated that L'auriculaire told everyone that Majeur died at the shootout, to which L'auriculaire responded that she truly thought Majeur got killed after her capture. Majeur retorted that she should have aimed between the eyes to kill her, but Le Pouce interrupted them, saying that she was glad that Majeur returned. L'auriculaire remained skeptical while Majeur discussed what happened during her disappearance, mentioning that she got intelligence on La Mouche's next location in three days at a nightclub. With the new information, the women planned an ambush for that night, and they arrived outside the club. Inside, they waited for Dutch to enter, with L'auriculaire listening on her communications until L'index spotted him, prompting the women to follow him.

Chapter 111

The women confronted Dutch, addressing him as La Mouche of Burkina Faso. To their surprise, Balalaika with her Vysotniki of Hotel Moscow surrounded them, proclaiming to the women that they would end up as pig food. Immediately, the Vysotniki began shooting at the women, scaring the club customers out of the building. Quickly taking cover, L'auriculaire angrily realized that Le Majeur set them up and promised to kill her.[8] While L'index, Le Pouce and L'annulaire engaged in a firefight with the Russians, L'auriculaire chased after the fleeing Majeur elsewhere in the club.[9] Majeur could not find an exit and was spotted by her, and the two shot at each other. When she ran out of bullets, L'auriculaire tossed her pistol at Majeur and smacked her wrist, disarming her. She utilized her knife and angrily hurled punches at Majeur, furiously claiming that she knew she would try to betray them at some point. Pinning Majeur onto the ground, L'auriculaire repeatedly and angrily wished death upon her while trying to push a knife through her chest, but Majeur pushed her attacker's head upward. Immediately, this allowed Revy to shoot L'auriculaire in the back of the head, killing her and splattering her blood on Le Majeur's face.[10]
