Gore Gore Girl history[]

Volume 6[]

In Hong Kong, Lai Faa's father, a police detective, was investigating Triad gangsters. In retaliation for his actions, five gangsters set fire to the detective's home. Lai Faa and her father survived, but the former had her face burned and her mother was killed. Escaping with her dad, the young girl eventually settled in Roanapur, to where her father followed the gangsters. In the city, she helped her father operate a goldfish stand while he planned to get revenge on the gangsters. Carrying out his revenge, Lai Faa's father left her alone at the stand while he began to stalk and fight the five men in town. Waiting for her father, she remained silent and gloomy and noticed Shenhua and Sawyer the Cleaner observing the goldfish. Seeing through the plastic bags, Shenhua noticed the young girl and asked her if she was all alone and where her parents were. Although the Taiwanese assassin smiled at her, Lai Faa sulked and kept quiet.

As her father began killing the gangsters in an ambush, Lai Faa sat down while Shenhua sat next to her, trying to cheer her up by claiming that her father would show up soon. When Shenhua asked for her name in English, Lai Faa remained silent, so Shenhua asked the question again in Cantonese. At that point, her father was nearby and got shot by one of the surviving gangsters. Seeing his daughter ahead of him, the police detective shouted Lai Faa's name. Immediately, she pulled out a snub-nose revolver and pointed it at the gangster. In the standoff, her father ordered her to shoot, but Sawyer restrained the girl's arm while Shenhua tossed her kukri at the gangster's head, killing him in the blink of an eye. Lai Faa calmed down but still felt despair concerning her father's death. Empathizing with her, Shenhua complimented her name and remarked that she could still live a new life unlike her father. In the end, Mister Chang personally ordered the Triad gangsters to back off of Lai Faa and allowed her to leave the city, particularly because he was friends with the girl's father back when he was a police officer.[1]
