Plot[]
As Víbora tries to push against Jaden's car, the latter exclaims that he will run him over. The hunter grins as the surprised Jaden continues pressing the gas pedal, so Enrique points his pistols at the man. Moving fast, Víbora jumps onto the car hood, grabs Enrique's wrists, and charges at him to slam him onto his back. Seeing that Enrique is disarmed, Eda tries shooting at Víbora, who quickly thrusts his foot to pin Eda's arm against the car window. As a result, her pistol flies into the window and lands at Mayte's feet as Víbora repeatedly punches Enrique in the head. As Enrique thinks that he may actually die, Eda grabs a thin and long plank and swings it at Víbora, shouting that she will exterminate the "zoo animal." Grabbing the plank, he pushes her back against the back and holds her down, making Eda genuinely wonder what kind of power he has. Concerned, Jaden yells for her, but she orders him to focus on escaping their pursuers.
In the van behind them, Melgar's male subordinates apologize for their delay in chasing them, but their boss tells them to simply hurry up. Víbora tries punching Eda twice, but she dodges both and locks her arms around his right arm. As she keeps her head down, Mayte opens her eyes and notices the gun on the seat floor, and she hesitantly picks it up. Regaining some consciousness, Enrique crawls away to grab his pistols. Breaking free from her lock, Víbora punches Eda in the stomach and then smashes her neck against the car frame, shocking her. Falling and coughing blood from her mouth, she insults him as a monster. Suddenly, Víbora notices Mayte pointing a gun at him, so he grabs Eda and pins her against the car frame, using her as a human shield. Warning the "gorilla" not to use her as a shield, Eda breaks free and punches him twice in the face. Angered, Víbora looks up and lets out a roar, making her smirk. Crouching, she yells for her comrades to pump the man full of holes, so Mayte and Enrique jointly shoot at Víbora.
Being hit with several bullets, the irked hunter is determined to fight but is distracted when they shoot at his feet, causing him to lose his balance and fall out of the back. To their terror, Celino and his accomplice witness Víbora crash into their windshield and bounce off the car, causing their vehicle to swerve off the road and off of a cliff. As they drive by the scene, Melgar's men are shocked at their compatriots falling off the cliff, but Melgar commands them to chase the Americans. Lobbe urges the driver to pick up Víbora at least, but Melgar claims that he is of no use to them for now, adding that they can pick him up later. At the same time that they drive ahead, Víbora's hand twitches. Further on the road, Eda's group stops after taking a side road. She helps Mayte climb into the back of the truck and recommends that they hurry up before their pursuers realize they took the side road. On the way to the eastern border, Mayte asks Enrique if he is all right, reminding him that he was beat up very bad. Eda jokingly states that they both screwed up, causing Enrique to rhetorically ask if she is a horrible person.
Smirking, she replies that he is certainly a kid who does not stop talking. He looks up at Mayte and asks her to give the gun to him, but she responds that she will hold onto it. Trying to get up, Enrique assures her that she does not need to use it, but Mayte excitedly retorts that she can fight since she "defeated the monster twice." Chuckling, Eda agrees that she can fight, making Enrique tell her to shut up. Enrique pleads with her to reconsider, admitting that he could not live with himself if something happened to her given that he feels responsible for the deaths of Luciana and her grandmother. Assuring him that he will not have to worry about that, Mayte affirms that she also wants to avenge her sister and grandmother. She holds up the gun and confidently asserts that she can achieve it, worrying Enrique. Soon, they travel further after Enrique began to sit in the front. In a good mood, Jaden asks him why he feels uneasy about Mayte being able to defend herself. Enrique answers that they do not have enough power, and he wants to be a sufficient prince to a "princess" like Mayte.
In the back, Eda informs Mayte that her gun is a little big and suggests that she use Enrique's .380 pistol. Clarifying that there is only one magazine left besides the loaded one, she advises the girl to take care of it. Feeling skeptical, Mayte asks if the United States is actually siding with her group, to which Eda remarks that they are a useful ally. Close to the border, Jaden explains that they only have to cross a hill to enter the other country. Up ahead, to their shock, the four see several military trucks block the road, realizing that it is an ambush. Eda orders Jaden to quickly turn back, but one soldier fires on them with a machine gun, trashing the front of their car. Ordering the soldier to cease fire, his commander then orders the Americans to exit the truck and drop their weapons, declaring that he will wipe them off the face of the planet. Eda tells Jaden that they have no firepower or sufficient numbers and they are physically exhausted, begrudgingly assessing that resistance would be futile and therefore they must surrender. Mayte contests the idea, but Eda retorts that living is better than dying, repeating that she needs to give up.
While the soldiers walk up to Jaden's vehicle, Melgar's team is surprised at the military presence. As Melgar insults the enemy for their foolishness, Paula suddenly shoots Lobbe and the driver in the head, killing them. Feeling her pistol against his head, Melgar asks what she is doing. Paula elaborates that the president gave her the opportunity. Additionally, she claims that Melgar is so self-righteous that he is willing to get his subordinates killed, confessing that she will fulfill her grudge against him. Remaining calm, Melgar responds that he has told her many times that there was no way to save her and never meant to abandon her. As soon as he says sorry, he immediately jumps out of the passenger seat and runs away as Paula shoots at him. At the same time, Eda and her associates step out of the truck while the frustrated Mayte complains that they have gotten so far. Glaring at her, Eda says that the military probably will not kill them right away. Angered, Mayte asks her for what Luciana died for then, causing Eda to warn her to be quiet, rhetorically asking the girl if she genuinely thinks that she does not also despise the situation.
Firing a shot into the air, the military commander orders the Americans to surrender. As Jaden claims that they can fight later while being detained, the commander proclaims that they have won, mockingly asking Eda's group if they understand. At that point, several missiles suddenly fly down from the sky and hit the trucks and soldiers, creating a huge explosion.
