History[]
Fujiyama Gangsta Paradise[]
After Balalaika had snubbed Laptev and assassinated Kōsa Council members on her own authority, Makarushka was ordered to call Balalaika. At their front restaurant, while Laptev was eating, Makarushka again informed him that Balalaika was not responding to their calls. Laptev told him to try again, but Makarushka recommended that they should have tried contacting Moscow for help. Furious at the situation and the suggestion, Laptev stabbed Makarushka's left hand with a steak knife, retorting that he needed to follow his orders. As one gangster tended to the injured Makarushka, who tried using a napkin to mitigate the bleeding, Laptev expressed his anger that Pyotr Slevinin had most likely agreed with Balalaika to betray him. At that moment, Washimine Group gangsters began shooting through the restaurant's windows, frightening everyone. Getting up after taking cover, Makarushka and the other gangsters were surprised to see Ginji Matsuzaki armed only with a katana. Laptev ordered all of his subordinates to shoot, but Makarushka and the others were stabbed or cut apart by Ginji and his superhuman swordsmanship.[1]
