The murderer couple (殺人者夫婦 Satsujin-sha fūfu) was an elderly couple in Roanapur who murdered several people and collected their body parts in order to create a being whom they perceived to be God.

Appearance[]

The couple were two elderly people with skinny builds, pale skin, and short hair. The elderly man initially appeared to be a young boy but was revealed to be an old man later on. He wore round glasses, a light-colored polo shirt, and black pants. On the other hand, the elderly woman wore a long dark-colored dress and a wedding ring on her left hand. Whereas the man used a taser for one of his weapons, the woman used a large knife as a weapon.

Sawyer chapter 47

The old man appearing as a young boy.

The elderly man's father told him one day that his mother went away to "see God," i.e., passed away. Accordingly, he sought out to create God, and in Roanapur, he went to a house where he met an elderly woman who looked like his mother, but she was not the same person to his dismay. Nevertheless, the elderly woman agreed to help him create his "God," who was supposed to come to life by creating a vessel of human bodies and flesh. For at least two weeks, the murderer couple began to kill people in town, dismembering their bodies and mostly collecting their arms and legs. The two elders then stitched the arms and legs together to create a symmetrical mass. In order to complete the vessel, the old man felt that he needed a beautiful young woman to finish creating "God," so he began to stalk Bunny the Undertaker.

Going to the Roanapur Public Cemetery, he had a young appearance and watched her clean up the cemetery grounds. Calling for her, the young boy asked her twice if she had ever seen God, elaborating that if she became his girlfriend, he would show Him to her. Turning him down, Bunny explained that the age difference was too much for her and that she would never have a romantic relationship in her life. Hearing her response, he stated that he recently moved to the area, telling her to call him if she changed her mind. Some day later, he began to watch Bunny again as she talked to her friends. As he observed them, The Undertaker No. 2 noticed him and pointed to his presence, but the others did not see him. Bunny told them about the young boy's attempt to court her, surprising them. Once Bunny's friends left, the boy killed another person and dragged their corpse in a bag with him. Walking up to the young woman from behind, he commented that she had a lot of friends. As she turned around, the boy tasered her and knocked her unconscious, bringing her with him but leaving a blood trail behind.

That night, at his house, he brought Bunny into the room where he was creating God, taking off her mask as well. When the unmasked and disoriented gravedigger woke up, the boy complimented her beauty, but she responded that she would have to kill him because he saw her real face. Chuckling, he grinned and presented to her the "God" of stitched human arms and legs that he created. Nonchalantly, Bunny retorted that it was not God, to which the boy agreed, clarifying that it was still a vessel which would be completed with her addition. At the same time, the old woman was downstairs when she heard Jessica, Frederica Sawyer and No. 2 outside. When the women attempted to enter her house, she shoved the doors open and charged at them with a knife. Immediately, Sawyer thrust her chainsaw into the old woman's chest, felling her. She laid on the ground until the women entered, so she attempted to use her last bit of strength to crawl back into her home.

At the same time, the boy spoke to Bunny about how he came to Roanapur and met the old woman. Being thankful for the old woman's help, he remarked that he would have to show "God" to her later. Leaning in toward Bunny, he began to cry, revealing that he was actually and old man who greatly missed his mother. Feigning sympathy, Bunny extended her arms out and assured him that everything was all right. Continuing to shed tears, he briefly hugged Bunny until she twisted his neck, killing him. Downstairs, the old woman leaned against a wall as someone dropped a lit match, setting the house ablaze. Before she bled profusely and was engulfed in flames, the old woman addressed God and asserted that she would see him soon, hoping that she would finally be together with Him again.[1]
