Gore Gore Girl history[]
Volume 3[]
After Dutch received various leftover meat from a shipping job, he offered Nhân to cook it as the Lagoon Company relaxed at the beach, and Nhân himself brought extra Kobe beef to cook. Unknown to the Lagoon Company, Nhân was a frequent client of black-market meat sellers who sold human meat and passed it off as luxury meat, so the Kobe beef was actually human meat. While he cooked the meat on a barbecue grill, Revy and Rock salivated at the meat cooking. After Rock had to leave to get some beer for Revy, Eda arrived and tasted some of the meat, enjoying its taste and teasing Revy. The casually dressed nun also asked who had cooked the meat, so Nhân introduced himself to both women.
When Rock went to a black market with Sawyer the Cleaner due to a sudden incident, Rock heard Nhân's name from one of Sawyer's affiliates as a person who bought some of their human meat, disgusting and shocking him. At the beach, Revy and Eda watched Nhân put the alleged Kobe beef through a mincer, and the cook soon prepared the ingredients for the burgers, including buns, triple cheese, and special sauce. Finishing the burgers, Nhân let everyone try them, and they found them delicious. Returning to the cookout, Rock was horrified to see them gobble down his human meat burgers, causing the ex-salaryman to vomit.[1]
Volume 8[]

Nhân (far right) cooking a lobster at the beach.
On another occasion at the beach, Nhân cooked lobster and tuna with the Lagoon Company in attendance. As Rock and Revy salivated over the lobster, the cook pulled out another piece of meat, intriguing Rock. Nhân specified that it was frozen tuna which he took the time and effort to thaw in order to minimize cell damage. Amazed by Nhân's cutting knife, Revy asked if he was using a Japanese sword. Rock guessed that it was a sashimi knife, to which Nhân joked that he would certainly recognize the tool. Finishing the preparation, the cook offered a plate of the tuna to Rock, who was mesmerized by the food's appearance as well as the addition of soy sauce and wasabi. Although Revy was concerned that the food was raw, Rock tried the tuna and gulped it down. Upon eating it, he began to cry tears of joy, surprising Revy. Smiling, Nhân explained that he had been testing out the possibility of using indica rice for sushi rice by devising a new way to cook it along with a new way to prepare sushi vinegar.
The cook asked the two pirates if they would like to try it later, adding that he also prepared Vietnamese soup with flame-seared and marinated tuna. Hearing Nhân ask if they were okay with cilantro, Rock happily affirmed. Before he could ask what tendons he was using, Revy called Rock and informed him that they were out of beer. Soon, Eda arrived to get in on the food, and the cook clarified that his seared ahi dish was perfect for anyone not accustomed to raw food. Happily accepting the dish, Eda admitted that she liked the garlic smell and was not fond of fish but believed the food was better than mere beef steak. As Revy began to argue with her over sharing the food, Nhân interrupted to announce that the lobster was ready to grill, exciting the women. Unknown to them but later discovered by Rock, the fish and lobster that they ate were given deceased humans as fish food.[2]
