Picton (ピクトン Pikuton) was a human trafficker and producer and distributor of child exploitation films. He had a desire to abduct the young girl Jacqueline and force her to be the "star" of a snuff film. He was an antagonist in Volume 5 of the spinoff series Dismemberment Galore! The Gore Gore Girl.

Appearance[]

Picton was a large adult man with a bald head. He wore a black flat-brimmed bowler hat, black suit pants, and a black suit opened in the front which exposed his shirtless chest and large belly. Additionally, he wore black rectangular sunglasses and black lipstick. Later, he wore a metal hook over his right wrist after his right hand was severed, and he sat in a push-handle wheelchair then onward.

Personality[]

Picton was a sadistic man who once admitted that he was born without a sense of humanity.[1] He viewed his business of filming child exploitation films as a hobby part of his general human trafficking business.

Gore Gore Girl history[]

Volume 5[]

Deducing that Jacqueline was a member of the Baba Yaga family as well as knowing about their non-interference policy, Picton decided to have his film crew hunt down the young girl so that they could produce a child snuff film. When his men began to chase down Jacqueline, Picton sat in his van to wait and had hired Choptop to clean up the aftermath of the film. While sitting in the back seat of the van, Choptop tried to reorganize the cluttered stacks of VHS tapes of child abuse videos, asking Picton if they were all the same type. He asked the punk if he wanted a tape, clarifying that the content was unedited and unlabeled with "big hits" inside. Choptop politely declined his offer, saying that he was not attracted to children. Speaking about the tapes, the heavyset producer stated that the videos were rare items of guaranteed quality, including specials that were not wholesaled at Rowan's business.

Recalling that his film crew was still "hunting," Picton told Choptop that he would leave up the cleaning to him. Out the front window a few meters away, the two men suddenly saw Jacqueline chase a fleeing cameraman, who was quickly brought down by a stab to his left ankle. The confused Choptop asked if the cameraman was one of the hunters, but Picton ignored his question and angrily prepared his pistol. Leaning out of the right window, Picton aimed his pistol at Jacqueline and fired two shots, but the child swiftly lifted the cameraman's body as a shield against his bullets, quickly fleeing behind a nearby building corner. Grabbing his car phone, Picton ordered someone to bring two to three people over, frantically telling them to come over immediately and not let the kid escape. As the van sped on the street, Picton asked Choptop if he remembered when all of Roanapur had a wide hunt ended by Hotel Moscow, and the latter recalled that the perpetrators were supposedly "twin brats."

Elaborating, Picton stated how a family made up of the same "seeds of evil" had been exposed in the United States and those displaced people moved to Roanapur. Connecting the fleeing Jacqueline to the family, he recalled that she was likely a member of that same family, adding that all the city's syndicates had taken interest. He also added that unlike the twins, the family in question had learned how to live in Roanapur by not interfering with others' businesses, remarking that their business was similar to their own. As they continued driving, they spotted the girl with her katana surrounded by three men, seeing that the crew already found her. At the same time, both men got a closer glance and saw Sawyer the Cleaner helping Jacqueline injure the men with her chainsaw, surprising Choptop in particular.

Stepping out of the car, Picton berated his men for not bringing a camera, and he noticed the girl swinging her katana. Commenting that she had high physical ability but did not know how to properly use the samurai sword, Picton pointed his pistol at her and asked her if she was truly a kid. Instantly, the girl vanished in the blink of an eye, scaring him. Appearing suddenly below him, the girl lunged and swung her sword before he could fire a bullet, cutting off his right hand. As Picton began to writhe in agony on his stomach, the girl calmly spun and sheathed her sword and was suddenly grabbed by her hood by Sawyer, who fled with the girl. As Picton yelled that he would not forget the incident, Choptop peered from behind a corner and snickered, as he had recorded the encounter with a video camera.[2]

Later while recovering in the hospital from his hand injury, Picton had summoned a mercenary, Martin the Nosferatu, to capture Jacqueline alive so that he could get his revenge on her. As Picton declared that he wanted to exterminate the Baba Yaga family, Martin sucked on an IV of blood and assured him that the job would be no problem.[3] The next day, the supposed vampire managed to capture the girl and bring her to Picton, disarming her of her sword. Jacqueline sat upright in a wide room in Picton's Studio with her hands tied behind her back and wearing glasses. Briefly introducing himself, the hook-handed, wheel-chaired Picton added that his main job was to buy and sell people but also produced movies as a hobby. Speaking about his line of work, Picton remarked that he had seen people who quit being human, some of whom were born that way, including himself. As he told the girl that he had several such humans, several men wearing pig heads emerged from several doors surrounding Jacqueline, also bringing three large, chained boars.

Sarcastically telling the girl not to worry since he would not kill her, Picton stated that he knew excellent doctors and would keep her on the verge of dying, evilly smiling and informing Jacqueline that she would be the main character in a long-form video series. The producer complimented how the keepers could tame the ferocious pigs as he watched them surround Jacqueline. Claiming that the reason for the keepers' skill was darkness, Picton elaborated that those who peered into the darkness that was too deep would be swallowed by said darkness, comparing their ability to a superpower. Taunting the girl by reminding her that she did not have her samurai sword, the hook-handed boss ordered one of the men to untie her to see how she fought back against the boars, and the cameraman's whole body began to shake involuntarily.

When Jacqueline removed her glasses and stared at one of the pig-headed men, he began to shake uncontrollably as well. Confused, Picton asked them what was wrong, and Jacqueline widened her glare toward her captors, forcing them by hypnosis via eye contact to bow their entire bodies down to her, scaring Picton. Crying and sweating, Picton realized what she had done, wondering how the child could control the same darkness that he spoke of. Controlling both the men and the boars with her mind, Jacqueline moved her eyes towards Picton and pointed at him, silently ordering her new minions to kill him. Now completely terrified, he pleaded with Jacqueline to stop her attack, asking her if she knew who he was. Consequently, the three large boars walked to the screaming, immobile Picton and began to devour him alive, leaving only his hook remaining.[1]

Volume 8[]

Sometime after Picton's death, his younger brother Doctor Picton took over his firm and studio. Furthermore, his brother also inherited his credit, meaning that Choptop still had to pay off his debt to Picton. Subsequently, Doctor Picton made a deal with the punk that he would forgive the debt he owed to the deceased Picton in exchange for tricking Frederica Sawyer into going to his circus.[4]
