The promoter (プロモーター Puromōtā) was an unnamed fight promoter working for Ronnie the Jaws. He fixed a Muay Thai match between Somsak and Kittikhun.

Appearance

He was an adult African man with a tall build, a bald head, a pencil thin mustache, and a thin chin beard. He wore one earring on his right earlobe, a black turtleneck shirt, two chain necklaces, and dark-colored pants.

History

At his fighting ring in Roanapur, the promoter fixed a Muay Thai match between Somsak and Kittikhun so that Somsak would be the winner. Although Somsak did win, he was challenged and defeated by Le Majeur in a special bout for challenging the champion. Furious that she messed up the bets, the promoter had his men forcibly escort Majeur to his office. There, he demanded to know how she would make it up to him for messing up his ring's bets. Not recognizing her, the promoter also asked her where she was from and if someone sent her to the fighting arena, warning her to speak up. Unfazed, Majeur ignored his inquiry and asked him how tall he was, confusing him. She then brought up the date September 18, 1989, the Akosia Trading Company, and several names including Pierre Umwe, Luc Anum, Henri Zongo, Jean-Baptiste Boukary Lingani, and La Mouche, again confusing the promoter. Hearing the Frenchwoman claim that she was trying to determine if she had business with him, he then saw Majeur's four comrades enter the office. Angry with the lack of answers, the promoter ordered his men to kick out the women, but the latter all drew out their pistols and shot the gangsters dead, leaving the promoter alive. As he sat on the floor against his desk in fear, he remained silent as L'auriculaire pulled out her knife and ordered him to tell them everything he supposedly knew about the Burkinabé coup.

After the Frenchwomen killed him upon finishing their interrogation, Mister Chang summoned a Council meeting with Balalaika and Ronnie the Jaws in attendance to discuss the murders of Black men in Roanapur, including the promoter's assassination.
