History[]

Goat, Jihad, Rock'N Roll[]

While Masahiro Takenaka was at an airport waiting for his flight to Basilan Island, the salaryman walked up to him and asked for a light for his own cigarette. Extending his cigarette lighter to the salaryman, Takenaka asked him if he was Japanese, with the correct guess surprising the salaryman. Takenaka clarified that he distinguished his nationality based on the way that the man held out his hand and bowed. Sitting down with his son next to Takenaka, the man smoked his cigarette and commented that he was going to Phuket with his family. Relaxing as well, Takenaka joked that it seemed like an unusual place to go to with his family, making the salaryman chuckle. Smiling warmly, he asked Takenaka if they ever met in the past since he felt like he had met him before. Remaining calm, Takenaka flashed a large smile and happily proclaimed that people always mistook him for Yasuo Daichi (or Ken Takakura in the anime). The man apologized for his supposed rudeness, which Takenaka accepted and replied that he had to leave, bidding him goodbye.[1] Unknown to the salaryman, Takenaka was actually a Hezbollah member and former Japanese New Left member wanted by the Japanese government on charges of murder, terrorism, using explosives, and resisting arrest.[2]

Later after Takenaka killed Ibraha and failed to get the terror plot documents from the Lagoon Company, he traveled back to the same airport, where the salaryman recognized him from before. Replying that his trip went well, the salaryman in turn asked Takenaka how his trip went. With a gloomy look, Takenaka answered that everything went horribly wrong since the deal went bad, his back hurt, and he got into a falling out with an old friend over an argument about having young kids do things that they could not do themselves. Despite hearing that, the salaryman nonchalantly assured him that there was always a next time, with Takenaka agreeing while donning his sunglasses. Before Takenaka left, the Japanese man asked him what he did for a living. Thinking about his answer, Takenaka declared that he had not truly known for a while but then realized that his occupation was an enemy of the public.[3]
