Sammy (サミー Samī) was a London Metropolitan Police detective who tried to discreetly investigate the connection between Zamid Dhiyab and Cosa Nostra while he was in Thailand.

Sammy was an older adult man with a stocky build, pale skin, short but shaggy blond hair styled into a widow's peak, a thick mustache, and a cleft chin. He was seen wearing a dark-colored suit with a light-colored dress shirt.

The Wired Red Wild Card[]
During his investigation of the financial dealings between Cosa Nostra and the London-based bullion trader Zamid Dhiyab, Sammy learned about Zamid's mysterious death during a cruise trip off the coast of Malta. Finding out about the money laundering account that Zamid used to launder money for Cosa Nostra, he also discovered that Zamid's mistress tried to pilfer the account's assets but did not succeed. At the same time, Cosa Nostra gangsters discovered Sammy's cover, capturing and torturing him. At the Roanapur docks, Sammy had his hands tied behind his back while he stood in a solid box with liquid concrete being poured in. As one of the Italians put a gun to Sammy's head, Ronnie the Jaws learned from Camillo that Sammy was affiliated with Scotland Yard, surprising him.
Pleading with Ronnie, Sammy admitted that he messed up with the title deed but assured him that he did not go to the police about the news and would not do so. Suddenly, Ronnie pinched Sammy's nose closed, remarking that fish food was not supposed to talk and ordering Sammy to shut up. At that point, the concrete began to finish drying, and the Italian gangsters hoisted the detective with a crane so that they could sink him into the sea, and he heard Ronnie discuss the financial assets' possible location with Camillo. As he was lowered into the water, Sammy could not believe that Ronnie was actually going to kill him. He wriggled and again pleaded with Ronnie for his life, but the frustrated Ronnie told him not to interrupt him and ordered Nico to sink him. As the Italians began to leave the docks, Sammy got submerged into the water with his concrete shoes and drowned to death.[1]
