Plot[]
As Shenhua prepares food in her kitchen, Sawyer the Cleaner uses an 8mm camera and records the unamused Shenhua, who has her hair in a bun and is wearing a cheongsam without her white jacket. Looking into the camera while finishing the food, Shenhua tells Sawyer that they will have dumplings for dinner. The three sit down, and Shenhua orders Sawyer to put the camera down so that they can eat, telling her that it is bad manners. Lotton struggles to eat the dumplings with chopsticks and points at the camera, and Shenhua reminds him that it is a video camera. Becoming interested, Lotton takes the camera from Sawyer. In his own room, Lotton places the camera down and makes some poses for it and turns off the lights, and suddenly the lights turn on, shining on Lotton's silver hair. After the camera turns off, Sawyer is sleeping on her side on the floor in front of the TV, drooling and also clasping a controller. Nearby, Shenhua yells for her to wake up, saying that she could catch a cold and that she fell asleep while she was gaming.
As Lotton yells to the TV while gaming, the tired Sawyer grabs her own hair and Lotton states that he will record a video and promises to return the camera to her. As the dizzy Sawyer tries to wake up and scratches her head, Shenhua wonders out loud if Lotton has been playing video games the entire time. The Taiwanese woman then asks Sawyer if she is hungry, reminding the latter that she has leftover dumplings from before. A little later in her room, as Shenhua is putting on toenail polish while only in undergarments, she realizes that Sawyer is recording, angrily asking the latter what she is doing. Shenhua shoves the camera away and demands Sawyer, also only dressed in undergarments, to hand it over. She pushes Sawyer back with a pillow and warns the cleaner that she will kill her if she tries to sell the video to a local market. Sawyer agrees to turn off the video camera, and Lotton's silhouette is seen leaving the residence.
Later, Sawyer plays a video game as Shenhua wonders where Lotton might be, and the latter woman sees Sawyer playing a single player game, telling the goth girl that it is not her thing. After time has passed again and continuing to rapidly press the buttons on her controller, Sawyer lies down from tiredness. When Sawyer barely awakens with her arms stretched across the floor, Shenhua recalls that Lotton has not shown up for a week, casually thinking that he is probably dead. Preparing to leave the apartment, Shenhua berates Sawyer for not keeping track of Lotton, asking Sawyer if she even has her own place. She then states that after their current search, Sawyer should go back to her place of work. The two then leave the residence and begin searching together. Walking through a market, Shenhua comments that she heard about a man who looks like Lotton passing through the area, and she turns around and realizes that Sawyer is video recording her again. Blushing and pushing the camera away, Shenhua angrily flusters and only says that she is looking for Lotton since she is angry with him, telling Sawyer to stop grinning at her.
Arriving in a rundown area, the two women soon see Lotton walk around a corner, causing Shenhua to yell his name repeatedly and running toward the corner. Sawyer falls to the ground on her hands, staying behind as she turns off her video camera. Finding a calm Lotton next to Tou Chi, Shenhua asks him why he left her place, but Tou Chi yells that he will not give up Lotton. Shenhua does not recognize him at all, making the annoyed Tou Chi clarify his name. The drug user then continues talking in a hallucinating rant about how his brain is being melted as well as claiming that he needs Lotton since he is a "chosen" person. Sweating profusely and pointing his revolver at Shenhua, Tou Chi states that he has a passport for traveling, but Shenhua knocks him onto the ground and tells the aloof Lotton that he should not be hanging around people like Tou Chi. As Tou Chi lies on his back in pain, Shenhua asks Lotton if he is okay and if he has any drugs in his system.
Pushing up his sunglasses, Lotton states that he was invited recently after leaving, and he thought that Tou Chi would have dumplings and video games, but upon seeing neither, he declined and decided that he would leave. Saying that his reasoning is stupid, Shenhua calmly urges Lotton to come back home, adding that she will make him lots of dumplings. Suddenly seeing something in the sky, Shenhua quickly tells Sawyer to point her camera there, remarking that something shiny is in the sky. As Sawyer turns the camera, she accidentally drops it into a pond of sludge, abruptly stopping the recording.
