Spring Heeled Jack is the sixth chapter of the Black Lagoon spinoff series Dismemberment Galore! The Gore Gore Girl. It was originally released on February 19, 2020.
Plot[]
At night, Sawyer the Cleaner runs through an alleyway while a robotic and eerie voice taunts her to run with all her might. Continuing to run, the voice asks Sawyer what is wrong, saying that he, Spring Heeled Jack, will not run away. Running next to a reflecting window, Sawyer stops and looks at the window since she hears the voice from inside. The voice then declares that he will abduct her, crashing through the window and making glass fly everywhere. As Sawyer looks up from the ground, towering over her is a tall and slender man covered in bandages and dressed in an overcoat and flat-brimmed fedora. Jack mockingly greets her, declaring that he has caught her. Seeing that he has an artificial voice collar around his neck, Sawyer gets up and pulls her chainsaw's pull cord, making Jack compliment her weapon. She immediately swings the chainsaw, but he casually blocks it with his left forearm.
Beginning to speak further, Jack's robotic voice details how two years ago, he and five of his friends were sent to Sawyer. Four of them were dismembered alive by her except for Jack himself since he managed to escape. In the present, Sawyer manages to sever his left forearm, revealing it to be metal to her shock. As he stretches his right elbow, Jack informs her that despite running away, he still lost many body parts. He voluntarily dislocates his right arm, shocking her. Putting his arms together, he states that he had to modify his body in order to get revenge, stretching his two arms to show one scissor blade on each, frightening Sawyer. Putting his arms together to form scissors, he orders her to fight him. Jack swings his scissor arms forward, but Sawyer blocks the scissors from closing using her chainsaw. As the two glare into each other's eyes, Sawyer ducks and thrusts her chainsaw into Jack's chest, but her eyes widen upon seeing no blood spill.
Jack tells her that her weapon is useless, commenting that there is steel throughout his whole body, also claiming that it is a painless modification that makes it difficult to receive injuries. Taking apart his scissor blades, he thrusts one blade downward onto Sawyer, who quickly blocks it. Unfortunately, the blade breaks the chainsaw's chain into pieces, making Sawyer kneel on the ground in despair. Calling her name mockingly, Jack swings his scissors forward to cut her head off, but he suddenly stops in his tracks before he can close the blade. Falling onto the ground, Jack panics and wonders what has happened to his body. Sawyer stands up with a syringe, revealing that she used a muscle relaxant to freeze his body. Jack pleads with her to wait, but Sawyer pulls out some scissors from her tool kit and cuts off his artificial voice collar, taking the loot for herself.
