Plot[]
Entering Jackpot Pigeons, Eda and Rico lay down the various documents that they brought with them. As Rock and Feng Yifei listen to them, Eda begins by explaining that the Albanian Mafia was first formed by thugs of the Kosovo Liberation Army and then ex-Sigurimi members joined them, making them a powerful emerging force in Eastern Europe. As Eda smokes and says that Ronnie the Jaws is working with a Tirana-based Albanian cartel, she orders Rico to show the other info. Placing down the pictures, the two church members tell Rock and Feng that the men who tried to attack them are known as The Quartet, a group of assassin brothers contracted under Bren the Black Death. Stating each brothers' history, Eda says that Montero is a Brazilian national who worked as a sniper hitman for a Salvadorian cartel, Robert served time in a U.S. prison for first-degree murder and did trick shooting and wet work, and Park Seung is a Korean-American and former U.S. Army soldier who got dishonorably discharged and then joined a Korean gang in Los Angeles.
As Rico hesitates to speak about the fourth brother, Eda smacks his head and then apologizes to Rock since they could not find any concrete information or physical appearance about the brother, only that he uses a knife. Pointing to the GFMS issues, Eda clarifies that she had checked all of them and looked for any loners dealing with large volumes of gold. Feng is curious as to why she looked for loners, so Eda tells her to take a guess. Agreeing to the challenge, the ex-spy deduces that the fewer that people know about illicit business the better, so a criminal dealer of gold would want to remain inconspicuous. Commending Feng for her deduction skills, Eda explains that Zamid Dhiyab, a dealer under the LBMA, had been recently dealing with scrap metal containing gold from Albania, but his transactions suddenly ceased when he mysteriously drowned during a cruise in Malta, with both the Malta and London police reporting it as an accident.
The nun then claims that the more important detail is that Zamid had "friends from Sicily" and then died being the only one with access to the money-laundering machine. Looking down at the documents, Rock wonders where the machine could be, with Eda responding that such info is not part of her job and that any extra info will cost him extra. As Rico smiles, Eda decides to tell Rock as a friend that Zamid was likely using the Bank of Trade and Commerce of Europe (BTCE), a bank popular with dictators and mafias. Putting out her cigarette, she tells Rock that what he does with the intel is up to him. Feng looks to Rock for guidance, and he remarks that Eda's intel helped him connect the underlying relationship between the Italians and Albanians. Having an idea, Rock rejects Feng's idea to steal the money from the digital ocean, specifying that they can use the money as leverage to ensure Feng's safety. When Rock points to the laptop, Feng hesitates since she is absolutely capable of accessing the banks and taking the funds, but she reminds him that the laptop is not connected to the internet.
Upon hearing that, Eda and Rico burst into laughter as Rock is shocked, with the nun asking him how he overlooked that. As the two church members try to suppress their laughter, Rock recommends an internet café, but Eda reminds him that Feng got spotted there, with Rico agreeing that the PLA will keep their eye on such locations. He tries to think of other places, so Eda says that he can try asking the crime syndicates throughout town but adds that it is very risky. As Rico lights Eda's cigarette, the nun advises Rock to focus on the other task of getting Revy out of jail at the Roanapur City Police Station since he cannot currently think of a way to access the internet. Realizing something, Feng proclaims that the police should have internet access that allows them to access the central database. Agreeing that the idea is better than asking the mob for internet, Eda asks Rock what his plan is. Accepting the idea, Rock declares that they can start with the police.
