Plot[]

Hours later after having hacked into an online research database, Feng Yifei finishes making contact, writing off the job as child's play. Getting a call from her superior Colonel Ma, Feng informs him that her penetration into Jane's cyber hacking group has gone extremely well, making him remark that he is proud to have selected her from the Third Department of General Staff, and he also asks her if there are any problems. Feng answers that her only complaint is the room's smell, referring to what happened 9 hours before. After Feng introduces herself, Rock asks about the room's smell. Benny tries to explain but is interrupted by Sawyer the Cleaner entering the room, terrifying Jane due to her previous encounter with the freelancer. As Benny tries to calm Jane, Sawyer gestures Rock to come to her, and she begins writing letters on his back, revealing that she did not bring her voicebox and will communicate by using Rock's back. Rock relays to them that she forgot to clean one part of the room but did dispose and clean everything else, confusing Jane.

Benny elaborates about the motel room opening up yesterday and renting it since it will be painful to have a room outside of town for comings & goings. When Feng correctly assumes that there was a murder in the room, Sawyer confirms, referring to Feng as the one "with the forehead." Sawyer then writes that her crew discovered the four corpses two weeks after the murders took place, adding that her crew had to use buckets instead of body bags to clean the melted mess and there is leftover bodily liquid on the mattress, disgusting the four of them. Later at an outdoor dining place, Jane informs Feng that she specifically sought out Feng on behalf of the former's hacking group, the Highwaymen, to hack into the German electronics company Reinbach A.G. in order to steal their avionics data. Feng asks if she should start by hacking their DNS server, but Jane clarifies that she can use Annenheim Distributions, a company with an exposed backdoor that has had dealings with Reinbach in the past. Although hesitant at first since she claims to not need a stepping stone to break into Reinbach's main server, Feng agrees that the job will not be a problem. Replying that her skills should protect her from going on the ICPO's wanted list, Jane smugly smiles and recommends that Feng demonstrate that she is not an amateur hacker before she joins the Counterfeit Club.

Back in the present, Ma is disgusted at the story of the melted corpses, but Feng brushes it off and explains the general idea of her job, clarifying that she has to do a hacking job first before she can truly infiltrate Jane's counterfeiting group. Speaking about the PLA's cyber army program to prepare for the 21st century, Ma tells Feng that she will be one of many to be the first instructors to future cyber army members. He then remarks that Feng's family from Shennongjia must be proud of her, but Feng replies that she would not know, confusing Ma, who says that he will contact her again soon. In their room, Jane dresses after finishing sexual intercourse with Benny and explaining Feng being a spy. Smiling, she says that she saw through Feng's disguise in her methods when she hacked the U.S. Justice Department as well as discovering her photo in the student records of a PLA institution. Finishing by saying that the fellow hacker Maggie D in Lyon is watching Feng's online movements, Jane happily recaps that Feng will be set up, her actions recorded, and exposed for being a Chinese spy.
