Summary[]

Placing down her glass and staring at Revy, Feng Yifei sternly wonders if she is just supposed to wait while the former drinks heavily. The gunslinger comments that she never said that she would pay for the drinks, making Feng respond that she has no money. Revy then jokes that she can sell her own body upstairs, and Feng slightly smiles and asks her how she is trying to kill her. Answering that walking out in town to find the assassins is an easier way to kill herself, Revy pours herself another drink. Continuing to drink, Feng remarks that she would rather be killed by Revy than by her ex-bosses, elaborating that choosing how she dies feels like real freedom. Calmly slamming down her glass, Revy states that she thought that they could solve each other's problems, intriguing Feng. Revy thinks about how something could go wrong if she helps out Feng, who quotes her grandfather that all one can do is go forward after taking a breath.

Seeing Revy's confused face, Feng tilts her head to drink and clarifies that one must move forward in life after making up their mind and that people always have some destination in the end. The calm Revy asks Feng why she sought out Rock, warning her that her answer could have lethal results. Speaking genuinely, Feng replies that Rock gives off an aura of someone who has compassion and yet knows the rules of Roanapur. In response, Revy tells her that she passed her test, agreeing that the ability to judge someone properly is one of the secrets of survvival. In turn, Feng asks her question from before about why Revy came to her, and Revy boredly says that it is the same reason Feng had, being that she is an outsider. Leaving the Yellow Flag, Feng takes the drunk and sick Revy to Rock's place, where he learns that Revy had drank 5 bottles of Ganjiu, four bottles of Bacardi, and one bottle of Overholt and then passed out.

After quickly cleaning up Revy's vomit, Rock thanks Feng for dropping off Revy, adding that she should have skipped town after doing so. Leaning against the refrigerator, Feng declares that fleeing would not end her chase at all, informing Rock that the two of them have a mutual interest. Politely declining Rock's offer of a cigarette, she clears up that Revy told her about his incident with the maid and her master as a reason that she would not help Feng. As Revy yells that she needs to use Rock's shower, he tells Feng that the incident has nothing to do with her, but she responds that it is also the reason that Rock turned her away and thus does involve her. Looking at him, Feng summarizes that they must talk about it before her battle can begin.

Although silent, Rock agrees that they can philosophize about it, so Feng asks if he has any beer to his surprise since she already drank. Pulling out the beer cans, Feng tosses Rock his can and jokes that they cannot have the conversation while sober. Viewing Rock as an anomaly in Roanapur, she asks him why he decided to end up in Roanapur. Smoking a cigarette, Rock answers that it all started when a worker who did not know his own worth was ordered to clean up his bosses' mess and was left behind.
